The game at Anfield promises to be an entertaining one. Both teams are in form and clawing their way up the table. Liverpool’s rich vein of form reflects the upbeat mood on their forums ahead of this game. Most of their fans reckon they will be able to out score us which will remove the need to concentrate on stopping the in form Bale…
“Cant wait to crush these. I want to see the lads inflict some serious pain.”
“AVB likes to play a high back line, so the stage is set for Sturridge and Suarez to take advantage of that.”
“First 15 mins are crucial. Get stuck into Bale and rough him up and he’ll stay quiet then let Suarez, Courtinho, Sturridge and the gang rip them a new one. Then the best ‘in form’ player in the league can be changed to Luis Suarez and Bale can kiss my dogs worm riddled ring piece. I hate Bale. I just hate him.”
“I think we should bring back Charlie Adam just for the fixture just to take out Bale”
“Not worried about Bale, worried about our team, and its usual ups and downs.”
“It’s Dembele I’m worried about. He’s been superb when I’ve watched Spurs.”
“Another good win needed here, the Red Machine is rolling full steam to a top 5 finish and these bunch of pansies are not gonna stop us.”
“I’d say they are favourites against us. This will be a close game. We have a battle coming.”
“Spurs are actually a good side and for whatever reason, people seem to want to dismiss that. AVB has got them playing some great stuff. Plus Tottenham is such a bogey team for us lately, so we’ve got a very tough match-up here.”
“I don’t worry about causing them problems, its keeping Bale and co. out that we may find difficult.”
“If we look at a season or two before this, we had players which are of mid-table quality but this time round we have a proper attacking frontline. We’ll do em.”

Spurs Team News
Mixed news with Lennon a possibility to miss out after picking up a hamstring strain against Inter, but on the “bright side” Ade is back in the side, with a vengeance, with a point to prove, hopefully not on instead of Defoe.
With Lennon out they may line up like that, but our midfield is more of a fluid attacking beast that strikes at will at the moment, and I expect Sigurdsson and Holtby will provide cover for the full backs as and when Bale is roving.
Difficult one to predict. Both teams are in form and scoring freely. Liverpool perhaps more so. I see Defoe getting back in the goals and our defence will have to be awake to prevent Sturridge and Suarez from sneaking into the space behind.
I’m going to go for a 2-2, possibly with Spurs sneaking it 3-2. COYS!
